Sewing Tools - Getting started
Below is a list of items that are all from Wawak.com. This in no way is a comprehensive list but it will give you a baseline that you can build from. I choose to support WAWAK because they have been around for over 100 years and cater to the sewing/tailoring community. They do not over charge and they sell quality products. With that said, purchase from where it makes sense to you.

20. *Thread for the type of sewing you plan to do. For now, you can choose to purchase a multipurpose polyester thread. Choose a neutral color like beige, white, or black. This thread will sew cotton and polyester. It will not be ideal for jean, canvas, or any other heavy fabric. It may also be too heavy to sew light weight fabrics.
